BLACKTHORNE’S BRIDE, book four of the Mail-Order Brides series, offers a drama filled opening chapter sure to entice its readers. Author, Joan Johnston penned this love story which spans over two continents. Loaded with detail rich character descriptions, Ms. Johnston’s emphasis on the importance of family was a key component to this novel. I feel honored to have been selected as an advanced copy reader of this novel and am happy to recommend it to all readers of romance.

Amy Sandas has written a treasure!
LORD OF LIES, is the third book in the Fallen Ladies series featuring the Chadwick sisters. Set in England, Ms. Sandas gifted her readers with a novel dripping with raw intensity. I felt as if butterflies were fluttering around my stomach as I devoured the developing romance between Dell and Portia. Their romantic attraction ignited on the page. Romantic perfection! Not only did Ms. Sandas captivate me with a storyline featuring sizzling sexual tension, but she allowed for moments of tender vulnerability that brought me to tears. From the slight caress of a cheek to the harsh words spewed in anger, not a detail was missed in her well-written scenes.
I was honored to receive an advanced reader copy of this book for my Kindle. I loved it so much, that I have purchased a copy for my personal collection, along with books one and two of the series. Happy Reading!

“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”
This Sunday, I’m placing the spotlight on Shana Galen’s TRAITOR IN HER ARMS, book one of The Scarlet Chronicles. Inspired by The Scarlet Pimpernel, written in 1905 by Emma Orczy, TRAITOR IN HER ARMS is a harrowing narrative wrought with danger set during France’s Reign of Terror. Rich with heart-thumping suspense, this nail-biter will keep you guessing right to its dramatic conclusion. I feel fortunate to have received an advanced copy of this novel from the publisher. Happy Reading!
